ABOUT FAREEHA KHAN

Fareeha is a business leader with over 25 years of experience working with SEC registrants, private and public companies under US GAAP / IFRS / ASPE accounting frameworks. As a CFO, Fareeha is responsible for leading the company\'s 3-5 year strategy, managing cashflows, shareholder growth, capital allocation, investor relations, managing Board of Director and Committee reporting and compliance with SEC and TSX requirements. Leading requires ensuring a detailed understanding of the business and drivers and being able to analyse information to make right business decisions as well as ensuring compliance with corporate governance principles and managing risk. As a mentor, Fareeha influences teams around the company\'s strategy and goals whilst looking at innovation and how to continually improve and transform the business. Over the past 3 years, Fareeha has managed various capital transactions including Rights Offering, Substantial Issuer Bid for Debt, NCIB for common shares and Debt, Shareholder Rights Plan, Private buy back of common shares, Support and Standstill agreements.In earlier roles, Fareeha managed day to day financial transactions (FP & A), treasury activities, insurance, running company annual SOX programs, budgeting, financial reporting (external (10Q / 10k) and internal) while coaching and mentoring teams. Fareeha is a CA / CPA and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Zimbabwe and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Fareeha worked 7 years with Deloitte in Zimbabwe and USA and 15 years with PwC in Pakistan and Canada.
