Recycling Technologies converts Residual Plastic Waste – that is currently disposed of in landfill or incinerators – into a valuable low sulphur hydrocarbon called Plaxx. This can be used as a fuel, traded as a wax or refined as feedstock for producing plastic. EROI is an economic metric which compares the energy returned to the energy invested. For this process, the ratio is 17.5 : 1 (out:in) with a net calorific value almost matching Diesel.
