About Farah Manaa
I am a graduate student pursuing a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering at The Ohio State University, which is where I also received my BS in Mechanical Engineering with Honors Research Distinction, as well as minors in Astrophysics and General Psychology. During my undergraduate studies, I conducted an experimental investigation of a miniature in-pipe hydro-turbine as part of the Honors Research Distinction Track, which ultimately led to the successful defense of my undergraduate thesis. For my senior capstone project, I worked alongside my teammates on optimizing, designing, building, and testing the rear wing of the Formula Buckeyes racecar to increase downforce and reduce drag, which helped us place 1st at FSAE 2024. I also served as a TA for Numerical Methods for nearly 2 years, where I supported over 150 students through weekly recitation and office hours.
