Campaigning to raise awareness of matters such as Islamophobia, Domestic Abuse, Hate Crime in our local community by running different projects including annual World Hijab Day event, 16 Days of Violence Against Women, Eid in the Park. Project Leader for Wee Steps, a mother\'s and toddlers support group for minority ethnics and the wider community. The aim of this group is to challenge social stigma and cultural differences to promote health and wellbeing for both mother\'s and their children.I also offer advocacy support to vulnerable and/or marginalised women and assist them with issues such as benefit appeals, communication with school and advice on domestic abuse reporting.Previously as an active member, I was a Trustee. But I have decided to take on the role of Development Officer to further our aims and objectives.
