I’m a Software and Data Engineer who enjoys building data pipelines that keep AI and machine learning products running smoothly and securely. I focus on the foundational systems that ensure data flows reliably so products can deliver real value. Professional ExperienceMy path has always centered on data and AI. At UIUC, I studied Statistics with a Computer Science minor, which gave me both the math and coding foundation. My first step into the field was as a Data Science Intern at NetEase, where I worked on analytics and ML models for e-commerce. Later, at JD.com, I focused on fairness in machine learning—testing algorithms, setting up experiments, and building monitoring pipelines. At EchoPlus AI, I switched gears into data engineering, building ELT pipelines to support real-time ML products. More recently, I’ve been doing hands-on projects of my own, like a full-stack tenant chatbot that answers legal questions using RAG and OpenAI’s LLMs. Unique Life Stories Alongside my tech studies, I also earned a degree in Media & Cinema Studies. I worked on documentaries and TV shows as an assistant producer and director, which taught me how powerful storytelling can be. Even though I work in tech now, I see a lot of overlap—whether it’s data or film, the goal is to make complex information clear and meaningful. InterestsFor spare time, I am into climbing, discovering new music and concerts, and all kinds of storytelling—movies, games, books, and anime.
