Fantasia currently is on the Board as a Member at Large and serves on the Programs Committee. Fantasia earned her BA in Psychology/Human Resources in 2004 at Peace College where she developed an interest in leadership and training development. She has over 14 years of direct practice experience beginning as an employment counselor providing support and counseling to individuals experiencing job loss as a non-licensed professional and for the last 4 years practicing as a licensed mental health professional providing office-based and in-home outpatient therapy to individuals and families in rural counties of NC. Prior to obtaining her MSW, Fantasia worked for over six years with the department of social services as an independent living program coordinator, serving adolescents and young adults in foster care. During that time, Fantasia cofounded a youth entrepreneur and leadership program/summer camp, TEAMUP, with colleagues within the agency.
