ABOUT FANNY TENENHAUS-AZIZA
I have a background in mathematics and statistics, and holds a PhD in Biostatistics. I have been working for 20 years in the dairy industry on the development and implementation of data-driven approaches for managing microbiological and chemical hazards in dairy products such as cheese, milk powder, etc. My work has focused on predictive microbiology, quantitative microbiological risk assessment (QMRA), and the optimization of sampling plans in the dairy sector. I have led strategic initiatives and R&D projects, and contributed to the development of web-based, user-friendly tools for dairy operators. I have also provided scientific and technical support during food safety crises, organized workshops and conferences, and contributed to several scientific publications. Since 2020, I am responsible for projects related to data strategy in the dairy sector, including database management, interoperability, and data exploitation. I promote a data-driven approach to decision-making whenever reliable data are available. I am a French delegate to the Standing Committee on Microbiological Hygiene of the International Dairy Federation (IDF) since 2010. I am a member of the Sym\'Previus Scientific and Technical Committee and was Chair of the International Committee on Predictive Modelling in Food from 2015 to 2017.
