SKILLS
ABOUT FANNY NESEN
I have both an academic and professional curriculum in environmental sciences and urban governance. Following a first dual Master’s degree at Sciences Po Grenoble and the Institute of Technology of Grenoble, trained on sustainable development, environment and climate change, I completed my education with a second Master’s degree at Sciences Po, entitled « Governing the Large Metropolis », acquiring an expertise in urban development issues in developing countries and in particular on access to essential services for all (water, sanitation, waste, transport and energy). My experiences as a Consultant (Icare & Consult, Greater Paris, 100Resilient Cities) mixed with my technical knowledge perfected at Veolia and now at Suez, as well as my field experiences as social studies project officer at Insuco (Guinea Conakry) and infrastructure Project Manager for the Agence Française de Développement (Indonesia, Bangladesh, Uganda, Nigeria) made me a Project Manager able to tackle all technical, financial and social issues with an excellent knowledge of development projects financed by international donors I specialized in working on the challenges faced specifically by developing countries, especially in informal settlements and I aspire to bring my energy and competencies to inclusive and sustainable urban development projects. Passionate about my job and trying to do my best to enlarge the access to services for all.
