About Fallon Morella
I am a Senior Athletic Academic Counselor at The Ohio State University, where I provide academic support and guidance to student-athletes from various sports. I have a Master of Science in Sport Management and a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from West Virginia University, where I also worked as an Assistant Director and an Academic Counselor for Student-Athlete Academic Services. My core competencies include time management, leadership, teamwork, and communication skills. In my current and previous roles, I have supported the academic success and eligibility of student-athletes by developing individualized academic plans, learning strategies, test-taking skills, coordinating the tutor program, tracking grades and progress, and communicating with coaches and professors. I have also traveled with assigned teams to ensure productivity during away games and facilitated the admission process for potential student-athletes. I am passionate about helping student-athletes balance their academic and athletic demands, achieve their goals, and grow as learners and leaders. I value diversity, inclusion, and collaboration in my work environment and strive to bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team.
