Hello, I\'m Falk Schuster. As a psychological-systemic coach and expert by experience for crises and mental health, I help people and organisations to grow in the face of their challenges. Services- COACHING in crises and change situations - WORKSHOPS & LECTURES for better mental health - COUNSELLING to understand mental illness About me: In 2011/12, I went through a crisis that led to me being hospitalised in psychiatric clinics for several months. Diagnosis: Depressive episode. Before this crisis, I defined myself by my professional achievements and the admiration of others. I did everything I could to appear confident and successful. I concealed and covered up any existing difficulties with my profession as an actor. Asking for help was completely out of the question for me, following a traditional male image. Not even my suicidal thoughts, which had accompanied me for a long time from the age of 15, made me change my mind. Despite various physical symptoms and sleep disorders, everything went ‘reasonably well’ as long as I worked and received encouragement. When I became unemployed, I lost the strength to cover everything up. ‘Thank God!’, I say from today\'s perspective. I sought professional help and learnt to talk about my difficulties and feelings and to accept help in the first place. This allowed me to learn- that accepting help is not a weakness but a strength - to distinguish my own values & needs from those of others - what supports me mentally & makes me really happy - to accept myself as I am and to show myself as I am Today, I combine these experiences with my qualifications as a psychological-systemic coach and actor to pave the way for people and organisations to achieve greater satisfaction and self-efficacy.
