The Software Engineering Chapter Lead is a key role, providing leadership and support to the largest chapter within Engineering (300+). Key responsibilities include.Vision and Strategy: Contributes to the creation of, and responsible for delivering, the strategic and operational roadmap for the Chapter in line with Group Technology strategic objectives.People Allocation: Accountable for delivering the people strategy for the Chapter, owns and implements the plans. Capability: Responsible for implementing the capability approach, focussing on re/upskilling or recruitment to deliver strategyTechnical Standards: Supports continual elevation of the technical skills within the Chapter; ensuring techniques and standards evolve with industry best practice. Recruitment: Responsible for the management and execution of the talent acquisition strategies.Coach and Advisor: Serves as a senior coach and advisor to the Chapter members as well as neighbouring Chapters.Performance Management: Guides and supports line managers within the Chapter on effective performance processes.Talent Management: Responsible for the provision of effective career development for all Chapter members.
