ABOUT FAIZAN RAJPUT
I am an MSc Energy Engineering graduate from Politecnico di Milano, specializing in Power Generation, with a strong interest in renewable energy systems, energy storage, power generation, and sustainable energy technologies. My background combines academic knowledge with hands-on industrial experience. I have worked on energy system modelling, technical-economic analysis, digital twin development, life cycle assessment, and renewable energy project evaluation. These experiences helped me develop strong analytical, problem-solving, and engineering decision-making skills.Currently, I am working in the R&D Department at Powertronix S.r.l, where I am involved in energy storage systems, BESS implementation, system integration, testing activities, and grid-connection standard work. My experience includes hybrid solar-battery-generator systems, battery configuration according to load demand, Solar Battery Converter testing, and BID-130 bidirectional inverter testing.I am also currently working on a certification-related R&D project for the company’s bidirectional inverter, where I support testing activities according to CEI 0-16 and CEI 0-21 grid-connection standards. This work includes understanding standard requirements, verifying inverter operation, preparing compliance-oriented test evidence, and supporting the technical validation process for grid-connected applications.During my academic projects, I worked on wind energy due diligence, CAPEX/OPEX evaluation, IRR, NPV, LCOE analysis, battery degradation modelling, and MATLAB/Simulink-based simulations. My thesis focused on thermodynamic modelling and performance assessment of a turbocharged hydrogen-fuelled recuperated split-cycle engine for cogeneration applications.I am interested in developing my career in renewable energy, energy storage, power systems, project engineering, and technical-commercial roles within the clean energy sector. I am motivated by opportunities where I can combine engineering analysis, practical problem solving, testing, and sustainable energy development.
