Leading and delivering Co-op’s ESG GNFR responsible sourcing plan, sustainabilitystrategy, ethical trade programme and diversity & inclusion policy.Providing subject matter expertise on ethics, human rights, modern slavery, ethical trade, sustainability, D&I and social value in GNFR supply chains.Continuous improvement and development of GNFR’s responsible sourcing policies, frameworks and training.Responsible for wider procurement associated risks and governance including data protection, GDPR, Infosec, financial crime, antibribery and restricted exports.Delivering responsible sourcing priorities in order to protect people in supply chains, protect our planet and capture social value through GNFR spend of over £1B.• Supporting category teams and suppliers to safeguard human rights in Co-op’ssupply chains.• Maintaining policies, frameworks, guidance and training on responsible sourcing for category teams and GNFR suppliers.• Providing advice to our category teams and procurement leadership on ethics, human rights, modern slavery and sustainability in the GNFR supply chain. • Drafting and co-ordinating sign-off on external reporting commitments related to GNFR responsible sourcing e.g. modern slavery report, co-operate report. • Representing Co-op externally as the SME on sustainability & responsible sourcing (ethical trade, human rights and modern slavery) in GNFR.• Planning and co-operating with industry to improve human rights in GNFR supply chains.• Partnering with external ethical trade partners: SEDEX, Unseen, Stronger Together, GLAA, FNET, Responsible Recruitment, ETI & Ecovadis. • Partnering with external supplier diversity partners: Social Enterprise UK (SEUK) & Minority Supplier Development UK (MSDUK)• Reviewing the supplier diversity strategy and continuing to deliver the strategy and ensuring Diversity & Inclusion commitments are embedded within Procurement and expectations communicated to our commercial partners.
