I’m a recent MSW graduate from the University of Michigan, the top-ranked school for social work globally, with a passion for supporting individuals on their mental health journeys. My experience spans inpatient, residential, and partial hospitalization (PHP) settings as a Behavioral Health Technician and Specialist, where I’ve worked closely with clients recovering from eating disorders, anxiety, and other challenges.In these roles, I’ve facilitated therapeutic groups, provided meal support, and offered personalized coaching, helping clients build resilience and develop effective coping strategies. My practicum at Wake Counseling and leadership at the University of Iowa Food Pantry have strengthened my skills in client communication, conflict resolution, project management, treatment planning, documentation, clinical practice, community outreach, and culturally competent care. I’m known for being empathetic, patient, and adaptable, creating a supportive and healing environment for clients.Technologically proficient, I’m skilled in using cloud-based tools like Slack, Zoom, and CRM software, and I’m committed to evidence-based practices, including DBT and CBT methodologies. I’m excited to continue growing in the mental health field, focusing on areas like eating disorders, anxiety, and couples therapy.
