But what are we really saying?”That one line stuck with me, because it forced me to stop thinking like a writer, and start thinking like a brand.Over the next few years, I wrote for some of the biggest names out there, Porsche, Ralson Tires Limited, Bombay Shaving Company, and Heads Up For Tails — across ads, carousels, campaigns, and everything in between.But with every brief, I found myself doing more than just writing.I’d ask- Why this message- Why now- Is this really solving the problem?Sometimes, I’d rewrite the brief before I rewrote the copy.And that’s when it clicked.I wasn’t just chasing good lines anymore.    Built clear, easy-to-use brand and social strategy decks, and walked clients through the thinking behind them- Planned paid media ideas and put together RFPs to help teams kick off new digital projects- Managed digital parts of campaigns, making sure the creative and the business goals stayed in sync- Helped lead big brand campaigns—from brainstorming ideas to presenting the final direction- Worked on full rebranding projects, shaping the messaging and rollout, and presenting it to the clients- Created brand stories and messaging frameworks that made it easier for teams to stay consistent across channels.
