Received P. Eng in December 2016 • Over 4 years of transmission lines design in 138 kV and 230/ 240 kV overhead for a Calgary based transmission company and a BC utility company• 1 year of 25 kV overhead and underground distribution lines design for a major oil and gas corporation in Calgary• Responsible for closely managing the cost, quality, budget and schedule for projects with budgets ranging from 0.5 to 2.0 million dollars• Detail transmission line design experience including preparation of design criteria documents and design of line route, structure spotting, insulation and conductor specification• Strong expertise in steel and wood pole design, hardware design and sizing using both paper and PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, SAG10 verification and working knowledge in SAPS, AutoCAD, ArcGIS and MicroStation• Proficient in creating estimation, Bill of Material (BOM), material ordering, bid evaluation, material requisition, writing LiDAR and Ground Survey and Construction Scope of Work (SOW)• Experienced in lines design utilizing OPGW and underground all-dielectric (ADSS) cables for telecommunication links• Familiar with CSA (C22.3-No.1, C22.1, C22.3-No.60826, C411.1) standards, AESO codes and AEUC provincial code and client standards (AltaLink, BC Hydro, Cenovus Energy)• Possess excellent communication and coordination skills while working with both internal (other engineering disciplines, drafting, procurement, construction and project management) and external (vendors, third-party material inspectors, surveyors and subcontractors) project entities• Currently hold valid Standard First Aid Level C: CPR and AED, and Alberta level 5 driver’s license
