About Fairuz Ishraque

I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Geosciences at Princeton University, where I study ice flow dynamics and paleoclimate archives in Antarctica. My research focuses on modeling ice sheet history, analyzing ice-core geochemistry, and developing machine learning techniques for remote sensing applications. I work in collaboration with COLDEX and NCAR, integrating high-resolution satellite imagery, deep learning, and geospatial analysis to better understand Earth\'s climate history. Previously, I conducted research at Colgate University, where I applied machine learning to analyze Martian glacial features using HiRISE images. My background spans computational geosciences, geospatial analysis, data assimilation, and high-performance computing, with experience in Python, MATLAB, R, and FORTRAN.
