Windows servers Tasks• Take care of entire offshore Wintel team management.• Handling monthly patching activity • Involved in process Improvement and service improvement.• Prepare Weekly and Monthly operations reports which are shared with client.• Providing Wintel L2 Technical Support from Offshore Support Teamto ensure smooth operation and maintenance including Servers which included physical and virtual both.• Server installation/configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting.• Monitoring Application, Systems logs on servers.• Clearing sessions of user and providing admin rights on the servers.• Handling Veritas application for physical storage management• Creating process document and technical issues SOP’s • Event Detection, Correlation, Event Validation and Management• Attend all the MI bridges and update them with required information.• Providing monitoring the Availability and Performance of Configuration Items throughout the Best Buy IT Environment, 24x7global support provided from offshore and on call support provided from onsite team.• Performing monitoring of Disk space, CPU Utilization, Memory Utilization related to Servers and other compliance related activities• Responding to Alerts on monitoring tools• Taking Snapshot of windows and Linux server before Patching and any activity as per requirement • Working on Windows Cluster Servers• Good knowledge on DNS, DHCP & Active Directory as well.• Provide training sessions to the team members. Configured and maintained Active Directory, including user account management, group policy administration, and domain controller maintenance troubleshooting the issues of hardware, Software, Outlook, MS Teams, etc.
