ABOUT FAHEEM ASHRAF

I am a self-motivated, dedicated and enthusiastic Masters in Law graduate looking to get legal work experience. Since November 2024, I have been working as the Telephone Advice Line Deputy Supervisor and Access Lead at Nucleus Legal Advice Centre. This role has allowed me to gain and develop my management skills, multi-tasking skills, problem solving skills as well as the ability to work under pressure. Additionally, my experience as a writer for multiple blogs and news outlets means that I have strong written communication skills. Having also worked as a teaching assistant, I have made my communication skills and ability to handle oncoming challenges much more robust. Through doing internships, I have employed and refined my analytical skills, research skills, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. I have interests in both UK law and international law. My interests in UK law are varied and many however my main ones include: immigration and asylum law, human rights law, employment law, criminal law and regulatory law. My interests in international law include international human rights law, international humanitarian law, international criminal law and international refugee law. I am fluent in English, Spanish and Urdu/Hindi. I am open to any legal work experience which will allow me to develop my existing skills and gain new ones.
