I am a CIMA qualified Senior Finance Manager, with an MSc in Business Analytics (Data Science), an expert in leading ‘Future Finance’ transformation programmes that optimise business processes with minimum resourcing to increase efficiencies and ROI. I am effective at collaborating with Executive leaders to embed financial management capability to protect cashflow and profitability. I have a strength in identifying areas for process improvement using automation and artificial intelligence (RPA/AI) to increase the accuracy and efficiency of procedures to enhance decision making. I can forge diverse relationships at all levels to provide strong leadership that encourages best practice sharing and leads to high-performance working. I am able to negotiate stakeholder relations in consistently evolving environments, combining expertise from others to achieve common goals.I have worked at Unilever since 2009, recruited initially as Intern, and progressed from Assistant Accountant through several roles with increasing responsibility to Head of Supply Chain Finance in 2018. My skills can be evidenced in a project I lead to transform Unilever Sri Lanka Supply Chain function to drive cost savings where my actions lead to a €10m saving in a year. Action I undertook to reduce logistics costs and review processes led to Unilever Sri Lanka achieving the lowest cost benchmark in the South Asia Cluster. My purpose in life revolves around a motto “serve to reach excellence” which I live day in day out. I continue to engage in endurance sports which helps maintain physical and mental well-being.
