About Fahad Ahmed

I am currently working towards a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, at The University of Texas at Dallas, Texas, hoping to further pursue a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. During my time at Richland college, I made strong, meaningful connections with almost everyone that I interacted with. This, along with excellent leadership, management, and team working skills, helped me in getting elected as the President for the Richland College\'s Honors Student Organization, through majority vote. I am also an active member of two national level honors societies; Phi Theta Kappa and The National Society of Collegiate Scholars. In an effort to learn more about my career choice, I was also a member of the Richland College\'s Health Professions Club. Having transferred recently to UTD, I am carrying all that my community college has taught me, and applying it to life at a 4 year institution. Working full time in a customer service job at a fast food restaurant, and maintaining excellent grades and a meaningful social life, has taught me the value of hard work, determination, leadership, and team work.
