Passionate about engineering and dedicated to continuous improvement, I thrive on acquiring new knowledge and skills. My journey is driven by a relentless pursuit of excellence and innovation.I recently completed an MEng in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Energy and Environment at the University of Calgary. I also hold a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology in Pakistan.Before starting my master\'s, I served as an assistant manager of process operations, EHS and process safety at Engro Fertilizers. In this role, I introduced testing protocols and coordinated daily operations to maximize production and reduce safety incidents. I launched training procedures and managed budgets to enhance productivity. My responsibilities included conducting investigations and root cause analyses, ensuring compliance with PSM, and participating in environmental impact assessments. Notably, I worked on commissioning a carbon dioxide removal plant, optimizing and troubleshooting newly installed plants, and replacing catalysts. I was honored with a spot award for implementing an idea that averted a plant shutdown. Additionally, I utilized advanced process controllers to optimize plant conditions and achieve higher production.To further demonstrate my commitment to skill development, I have strong expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, ASPEN Hysis, and Python.Outside of work, I enjoy running and playing cricket whenever I get the chance.
