My passion for drug discovery, fueled by over 2 years of research experience in the biotech field, began with a fascination for how tiny genetic changes and molecules can lead to life-saving therapies. This curiosity naturally led me to pursue an MS in Biotechnology at Northeastern University, where I gained hands-on experience in molecular biology, biotech business, and therapeutic development. At Affinia Therapeutics, I processed 450+ NHP samples across 5 AAV vectors and 6 timepoints, saving significantly in CRO costs and uncovering 100X faster clearance for capsid ATV-108 vs AAV9. At Toprani Advanced Lab Systems, I handled 700+ COVID-19 samples daily and earned a promotion to Senior Lab Technician in under 4 months after improving testing capacity by 30%. Earlier, I developed core skills in qPCR, gel electrophoresis, and gene mutation analysis at Akanksha Hospital and Research Institute using tools like BLAST, FASTA, and primer design.
