About Faezeh Ashtiani

I obtained both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in architecture from the University of Tehran in Iran prior to pursuing my master’s degree in landscape architecture from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. During my studies, I honed my skills in pattern recognition, and conceptual thinking and used creativity and research methods to solve large and small scale design problems. As a Landscape Architect in Chicago, I utilized the knowledge from both architecture and landscape architecture to contribute and manage various projects. My interest in software development stems from my love of learning, curiosity of new technologies, and desire to solve complex problems. By going through the intensive full stack development program at Ada Developer Academy, and my Internship at Amazon, I hope to gain the required knowledge of entering the technology industry as a front-end or back-end engineer and I am excitedly looking forward to building tools and systems that improve the daily lives of others.
