I\'m the Director and Head of Consultancy at Kata Care, a quality and leadership consultancy for social care providers.I\'ve spent 15 years in social care, and most of that time has come back to one thing: getting the right people into the right roles and helping them do genuinely great work.I started in recruitment before moving into building new divisions for growing businesses. That startup world taught me to build from scratch and keep things moving when there\'s no rulebook.In 2018 I stepped into care delivery myself. One of the most rewarding years of my career, and it confirmed where I add the most value: supporting the people who deliver care.I launched Kata Care in 2022 to bring it all together. The sunflower in my name isn\'t decoration. It\'s the hidden disability symbol, worn intentionally. For a long time I didn\'t have the language for the way my brain worked. I just knew I was different. Exhausted by masking. Convinced something was wrong.My diagnosis reframed so much. The struggles, yes, but also the strengths. The creativity. The hyperfocus. The drive to do things that actually matter.I\'m a passionate advocate for the ADHD community, especially adults who\'ve spent years undiagnosed.
