About Fadi Abboodi
Over 13 years of multidisciplinary experience in medicine, research and development, education, and management. Started my career journey as a physician practicing in different branches of medicine and surgery, mainly Pediatrics and Internal Medicine. A molecular and biomedical scientist with expertise in Oncology, cancer genetics and genomics, gene editing, and cancer biomarkers. Cofounder, manager, and R&D lead of a CLIA-certified clinical lab using the in-house (LDT) developed FDA-EUA submitted COVID-19 saliva-based PCR test and virus genomes sequencing. A university faculty member in the departments of Pediatrics and Biomedical sciences. Currently, a senior scientist in Biotechnology, cancer liquid biopsy, and LDT/IVD test development for the detection of minimal residual disease (MRD) in cancer patients.
