As Sector Manager at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), I lead a dynamic team of 100+ professionals to design and implement innovative programs that promote trade facilitation, investment attraction, and export promotion while enhancing productivity and competitiveness across key sectors.I oversee a diverse portfolio valued at more than US$3B, achieving top-tier performance ratings through strategic oversight, collaboration, and resource optimization. I have spearheaded transformative initiatives, including ConnectAmericas.com, which empowers SMEs across Latin America and the Caribbean by providing access to global business networks. To date, the platform has attracted registered users and over 14 million unique visitors from 209 countries and territories, positioning it as a leading tool for fostering trade and investment opportunities. I also coordinate the Americas Business Dialogue, a platform of more than 400 MNCs and chambers of commerce and industry, fostering public-private collaboration to drive policy advocacy and inclusive economic growth.I also lead the implementation of the BID for the Americas program, strengthening trade, investment, and co-financing opportunities by deepening ties between LAC and non-borrowing member countries.
