As a Managing Director with the Credit Specialties Division of Marsh Specialty, I advise clients in respect of political and credit risks primarily connected to medium-long term infrastructure investment (but non exclusively), and structure bespoke London Market insurance solutions to manage such risks.I am involved at all levels of the business: from origination to management of client relationships, negotiation and structuring of cover, handling of policies and settling of claims. I work seamlessly across regions, and cultures. I currently lead globally Marsh Public Agency Practice, overseeing a substantial book of clients comprised of ECAs, DFIs and Multilaterals.

Fabrizio leads Marsh Credit Specialties’ Public Agency Practice globally. Marsh’s Public Agency Practice is a unique and dedicated practice for public agencies, delivering risk and capital management solutions to help alleviate concentration and limit constraints, free up resources and enable public institutions to fulfil their strategic mandates of supporting national exports and investments – contributing to the growth of global cross border trade and investment.Fabrizio initial engagement with public agencies started in 2013 and he has led the development of Export Credit Agencies (ECA) reinsurance activity since then. Fabrizio also leads the work with numerous multilateral development banks and DFIs, to support their private capital mobilisation strategy. He works seamlessly across the globe, bringing best practice and expert advice to his clients in Asia, Africa, Europe and the Americas.Fabrizio specifically focuses on the interaction between Banks, ECAs, Multilateral Development Banks, Development Financial Institutions and Institutional Capital and how the private (re)insurance market can work harmoniously alongside the public sector to meet today’s pressing challenges linked to energy transition and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
