ABOUT FABRIZIO SCOZZESE

Fabrizio Scozzese is Assistant Professor of Structural Engineering at the School of Architecture and Design of the University of Camerino. On June 2023 he received the Italian habilitation to Associate Professor. Since 2021 he is teaching “Structural Problems in Historical Buildings - Architectural Restoration Laboratory” (Master Degree in Architecture) and “Analysis and design of structures”,(Bachelor Degree in Science of Architecture) at the School of Architecture and Design of the University of Camerino Graduated with honors in Civil Engineering in July 2014 from the Polytechnic University of Marche, Ancona, Italy. Authors of several scientific articles published on international journals and presented at international conferences, his research focuses on a wide range of structural engineering fields, including: structural health monitoring, supplemental energy dissipation and seismic isolation systems, design and retrofit of existing buildings, bridge engineering. He serves as Editorial Board member for various scientific journals and he is organizer of Italian conferences (e.g, ANIDIS 2019, FABRE Congresses) and international conference sessions (e.g, COMPDYN 2019 and 2021, IALCCE 2023, etc.). Chartered Professional Engineer in Italy, since 2019 he has also offered professional consultancy on complex structural problems (e.g, design and testing of innovative anti-seismic partition walls, full-scale push-and-release tests of isolated buildings, etc.) and from 2021 is involved in safety inspections and evaluations of Italian existing bridges.
