ABOUT FABRIZIO PICCARETA

I am a UEFA PRO licenced football coach, achieved with the Scottish Football Association. I have a forward thinking approach to the game and a commitment to applying the lessons I\'ve learned over the course of a 20 year, starting from the lower leagues in Italy to the Barclays Premier League in England. Since making my first experience in the academies I have always been in the pursuit of my personal and professional improvement. I am highly motivated, articulated and dynamic professional with a well-structured background that has given me substantial experience and expertise across all aspects of football including: playing, coaching and scouting. My good communication skills and my natural empathy made me build up good relationship with the players and people working at different Clubs. COACHING QUALIFICATIONS • UEFA PRO LICENCE UEFA A LICENCE • UEFA B LICENCE KEY ACHIEVEMENTS - Won the Finnish Cup 2017/18 with FC Inter Turku securing a place in the Europa League qualifiers for the season 2018/19 o Won the 2011/12 League Two title with Swindon to seal promotion to League One, the club’s first trophy since 1996 o Finalist in the 2011/12 Football League Trophy at Wembley Stadium with Swindon o Helped Sunderland secure their Premier League status at the end of the 2012/13 season, achieving victories over derby rivals Newcastle United (3-0 at St. James’ Park) as well as Everton to turn around a season in which 3 points had been gained from the 8 games prior to arrival o Left Swindon in Feb 2013 alongside First Team Manager Paolo Di Canio with the club top of League One after promotion o Managed Swindon for one game as Caretaker Manager, achieving a 3-1 away win at promotion rivals Tranmere Rovers
