Technical regulations - Product safety and conformity, product and service quality. Main activities: a) Technical assistance for the negotiation on the Proposed Regulation on Toy Safety at the EU Council; b) Support in technical-administrative procedures for market surveillance with particular regard to the role of the Single Liaison Office, relations with the European Commission (current member of the European Product Compliance Network, Consumer Safety Network, AdCo Safety Toys, PCA Project); c) Participation in the Advisory Group on Market Surveillance (MARS) of the UNECE and the Working Party on Consumer Product Safety (WPCPS) of the OECD; d) Management of the European Rapid Exchange of Information (Safety Gate) and the Information and Communication System on Market Surveillance (ICSMS).
