ABOUT FABRIZIA DALBERTI
I am a business-minded in-house lawyer with extensive experience in technology law, data protection, intellectual property, M&A, and global compliance. Over the past four years, I have built and led a full-function legal department at one of Europe’s fastest-growing AI coaching platforms.I joined CoachHub as a legal trainee and today serve as the most senior legal officer, reporting directly to the C-Level. During this time, I have contributed to built the legal team from 2 to 11 lawyers while the company scaled from roughly 100 to more than employees. I advise on a wide range of strategic matters, including board governance, financing transactions (including loan agreements and due diligence for funding rounds), the structuring of employee compensation plans, data breach management, and complex enterprise SaaS negotiations with Fortune 500 companies across EMEA, the US, and APAC.Alongside my legal leadership role, I am responsible for legal innovation within the organization. I have designed and implemented standardized legal processes and built the legal operations infrastructure that enables the team to operate efficiently and scale with the business.A core focus of my work is AI regulation. I hold an LL.M. from the Max Planck Institute, where my thesis examined AI and copyright in the EU. Since the earliest drafts of the EU AI Act, I have been working directly on translating emerging regulatory requirements into practical frameworks for companies — designing AI risk assessment processes, supporting compliant AI development, and advising product and data teams on responsible deployment. This is not theoretical work, but something I engage with on a weekly basis.I am equally comfortable negotiating complex technology agreements with procurement teams at Fortune 500 companies and presenting regulatory risk and compliance strategies at board level. I have also lead the integration of AI tools into business operations in a legally compliant and operationally effective way.I bring a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset and a strong ability to balance legal risk with business objectives.
