ABOUT FABIO MOIOLI

Fabio Moioli is a consultant in Spencer Stuart’s Technology, Media, Telecommunications & Services. In his role, he advises clients on the leadership implications of new technologies, helping organizations to find new leaders who can drive business and technology transformations. With a degree in Computer Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and an M.Sc. in Telecommunications Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Fabio is passionate about artificial intelligence and even more a scholar of human talents and intelligences. Over the course of his career, he combined several leadership roles in leading technology companies, mainly working on AI projects, with a passion for cognitive sciences, particularly on how leaders should evolve their competences as well as the talent pool of the organizations they lead. Earlier in his career, he has been responsible for the projects executed by Microsoft and its partners for 14 countries in Europe, having previously been head of Consulting & Services at Microsoft, where with his team he won the EMEA Award for Digital Transformation for several years. Prior to Microsoft, Fabio was VP at Capgemini, part of the \"Global Experts\" team for IoT and AI, previously at McKinsey, working on change management & operations, and a researcher on advanced telecommunications systems at Ericsson. He worked in the United States, Canada, Scandinavia, Northern and Central Europe, operating in 16 European markets. He is an extended faculty for Singularity University, Harvard Business Review, ilSole24Ore, Luiss, the State University of Milan, and POLIMI GSoM (MIP Politecnico di Milano) where, in addition to being a lecturer for several courses including MBA, he is the Director of the OCP course in AI. Fabio is a member of the worldwide Forbes Technology Council, Italia4Blockchain, ANGI, ELIS, JA Tech. boards, as well as of other innovation committees. Finally, he is a member of Mensa International and also passionate about sports, having participated in several marathons. Speaker at international conferences and TEDx, Fabio enjoys writing articles on opportunities and challenges raised by AI, including its ethical implications.
