ABOUT FABIO CROSILLA
After having been Associate Professor (for 8 years), Full professor (for 27 years) and Senior professor (for 3 years) of Topographic surveying and Digital mapping, since October 2024 he has been a Subject Expert at the Polytechnic Department of Engineering and Architecture of Udine University. As a Subject Expert, the research activity is mainly devoted to Biblical Geography and Topography.He is author of 3 patents and more than 220 publications, of which more than one hundred on applied statistics in Surveying and Photogrammetry. He served for many years in the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing. In the period 20••••14 he was the Italian Prime Delegate in the European Spatial Data Research network (EuroSDR). Currently, he is secretary of the CISM »Advanced Professional Training« activities and editor of the book series on »Geodesy and Cartography«.Specialties: Scientific responsible for the University of Udine of the INTERREG Italy-Slovenia 20••••06 project “Cadastral map updating and regional technical map integration for the GIS of the regional agencies by testing advanced and innovative survey techniques”.Director for three editions of the Universitary First Level Master on \"Geographic Information Systems\" promoted by the University of Udine in cooperation with the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences (Villach).
