ABOUT FABIENNE ONGARO

I’m an experienced senior manager with more than 27 years of experience in the international telecom and software business. My career evolved from Engineering to Account Management roles, along with the wireless technologies, where I’ve implemented the basis of the GSM technology, then defined business strategies enabling the corporations that I’ve worked with to shape the future of the Mobile and IoT business and finally became the manager of strategic international and domestic wholesale accounts. My curiosity drove me to leave my country to work in different continents, enriching myself with different views of the world. Today, having travelled to more than 50 countries for work and pleasure, my cultural awareness not only taught me to embrace diversity as a motor for innovation and value creation, but it also contributed to make me a great communicator, a versatile negotiator and a positive influencer. I love to lead and to collaborate with multicultural teams and I believe in mentoring team members to success while encouraging their authenticity as a key ingredient of organizational success. As a professional I pride myself of being a multi-tasking and organized individual with the ability to provide me self-direction and self-motivation when working in unstructured environments and situations. And thanks to my experience-mix I have an unique capability in demonstrating empathy for my business partners, understanding their business challenges, identifying opportunities, articulating business workflow to retain and expand our business relationship. As an individual I am relentless, and my discipline and desire to succeed is reflected in my personal life in my sports commitments. For more than a decade I have played squash in national leagues - France, Lebanon, Hong-Kong and Canada, where I have won several medals and achieved to be placed in 2nd in the Quebec Province ranking and 24th place in the national ranking for my category. After stopping competition due to a sport injury, I discovered the love for running, and since then I’ve participated in several organized running events, such as marathons, where I diligently train to achieve my timing objectives.
