ABOUT FABIEN MACHARD DE GRAMONT
I grew up in the wine industry, and even though I was helping in vineyards and cellars as far as I can remember, I really started my career in wine in 1997 when learning the trade from my godfather Bertrand Machard de Gramont and caught the winemaking bug during my very first harvest. It\'s been with me ever since. I developed my understanding of vine growing and winemaking while working in different wine producing regions of France, Switzerland, Italy and more recently California, when I immigrated to the US in 2006. After a 7 year break from wine production, working for a wine retail/auction/white-glove storage company and learning a great deal about the logistics part of the industry, I came back to interact with wineries, develop relationships between winemakers and Oenofrance, the most innovative and reliable enological ingredient supplier in Europe and Worldwide, and provide advice on quality improvement and sustainable viti-viniculture.
