ABOUT FABIEN FABRE

FR - C’est avec le recul de quinze années d’activités professionnelles que je décrypte les atouts qu’ont su me donner une double culture. Tout d’abord une culture scientifique et technologique, apportée par mes études, caractérisant mon attrait pour les technologies et la capacitation qu’elles induisent pour leurs usagers et traduisant mon goût pour la conceptualisation de projets et pour synthétiser les situations. Une culture artistique et culturelle ensuite, de par ma carrière en tant qu’artiste d’une part et en tant qu’entrepreneur et coordinateur culturel d’autre part. En y ajoutant un profond intérêt pour les projets collectifs et les organisations humaines, j’ai pu fonder puis conduire plusieurs projets culturels ambitieux autour des arts et cultures numériques, avec un attrait particulier pour les dimensions de transmission et de coopération. EN - In a fifteen-year hindsight of professional activity, I can see the benefits of being bicultural. On the one hand, my scientific-and-technologic-oriented education reflects my appetite for technology and the empowerment it gives to users and my taste for project ideation and synthesing situations. On the other hand, an artistic-oriented and cultural career, first as artist and then as entrepreneur and cultural manager. By adding a deep interest in collective projects and human organizations to the mix, I was able to found and then lead several ambitious cultural projects on the theme of digital art and culture, with a particular focus on transmission and cooperation.
