ABOUT FABIANA LOPES

I am a New York and São Paulo-based Art Curator, Scholar, and Ph.D. candidate in Performance Studies at New York University, where I am a Corrigan Doctoral Fellow. My research centers on the contemporary production of artists of the African diaspora in Brazil and the Americas. I was adjunct curator for the Bienal 12 | Porto Alegre “Feminino(s): visualidades, ações e afetos” (2020).
