About Fabiana Arcila
As a Biomedical Engineering student at Johns Hopkins University and QuestBridge Match Scholar, I am passionate about connecting medicine, leadership, and innovation. I believe advancing health is not just about discoveries in the lab, but also about the ability to mobilize people, shape strategy, and create scalable impact.Currently, I serve on the American Heart Association Youth Leadership Council, contributing to policy initiatives, advocacy guides, and nationwide resources that empower students to champion cardiovascular health in their communities. This role has shown me how collaboration and vision can create change far beyond a single project. At Hopkins, I’m pursuing Biomedical Engineering on the premed track, while exploring the intersections of finance, consulting, and industry strategy. My goal is to be fluent in both the science of medicine and the business of healthcare innovation—from investment banking and medtech consulting to clinical practice and research translation.Outside of academics and leadership, I enjoy journaling, going to the gym, and exploring technology innovations—reminders that curiosity, reflection, and resilience are just as essential as discipline.
