ABOUT FABIAN VON GLEICH

Based on a profound academic education in mechanical and production engineering I have worked in research, consultancy and industry. Most of my career as an engineer and manager I have spent in the Aviation Industry, where I have chosen positions that gave me the opportunity to shape the industrial system in a sustainable and long-lasting way.Focussing on the value for the business I am keen on deriving projects and change-initiatives from the company\'s strategy. Based on strong analytical skills in technology and economics I am most effective, when it is important to align the interests of many different stakeholders and to establish cooperation across borders between functions or even companies. By actively searching for opportunities it is my ambition not only to formulate strategic roadmaps, but also to ensure their implementation.For achieving my objectives I can rely on good networking skills and my ability to inspire people for common goals. That does not only relate to direct reports, but even more to colleagues and managers in within the entire organization. I have a passion for developing my colleagues according to their talents and ambitions. I\'m particularly proud of the development of my former mentees.I consider myself not only as an achiever, but also as a strong learner. Curiosity drives me to expose myself to new challenges and to acquire knowledge by experience, the exchange with experts or self-study. Being a Reserve Officer, the sense of duty and loyalty mean a lot to me.
