ABOUT FABIAN SCHWEINZER

I share two passions: one is finance and the other is soccer. So to that end, I am enrolled in the Master of Science in Finance (MFIN) Program at Hult International Business School in Boston, MA. I decided to pursue this post-graduate degree to grow both socially and in terms of my practical skills. I am thrilled to experience a completely novel life setting in terms of people and culture.In terms of work experience, I enjoyed and participated in internships in both Controlling and Risk Management at respected local companies in Austria before I joined KPMG Austria GmbH in February 2019. After two successful years I decided to continue my educational journey with a Master\'s degree in Boston, Massachusetts in the United States. After successful completion of the 1-year Finance Master, I relocated to New York City to commence my professional career with Morgan Stanley. Since December 2021, I am working in the Valuation Control department covering initially Lending and Credit products across the NA region. In the summer of 2022, I moved internally to cover xVA and Commodity asset classes in a dual role in order to leverage cross-asset class expertise.For my second passion, I played soccer at an early age and moved on to play in the 4th highest division in Austria until recently. In addition, because of my love for the sport, I coached youth teams at my local football club for nearly two years. From that coaching experience and from soccer in general, I gained leadership and team work skills, which I feel will benefit me for the rest of my life.
