ABOUT FABIAN KREMKUS

I am a design principal and a senior design leader at CO Architects. Throughout my 21-year architecture career, I worked internationally on a wide range of projects including academic and research facilities, secondary schools and hospitals, corporate headquarters, and entertainment facilities. I am the project designer for the firm’s work on the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, including the 1913 Building restoration, the North Campus project expansion and Otis Booth Pavilion. For the North Campus, my designs include a bridge—inspired by the form of a whalebone—that connect the street with the Otis Booth pavilion at the north facade. Other recent projects include Microbial Sciences Building at the University of Wisconsin-Madison; Kendall Square Building B research laboratory in Cambridge, Mass; Palomar Medical Center West in Southern California; and the Santa Monica College Library expansion and renovation. Prior to joining CO Architects in I was a project designer with Morphosis, where I designed and contributed to institutional and corporate projects in the U.S. and Europe; projects include Diamond Ranch High School in Pomona, Calif. and the Hypo-Alpe-Adria Center in Klagenfurt, Austria, a major bank office and event center. I also designed corporate, sports and entertainment projects in Europe while associated with firms Brandi & Partners and Andre Poitier Architect. I hold both a Master of Architecture and a Pre-Diploma in Architecture from the University of Braunschweig in Germany.
