ABOUT FABIAN KIENBAUM
I am the Managing Partner of Kienbaum, a global Leadership Advisory & Management Consulting firm active in 15 countries on four continents. The company was founded in 1945 by my grandfather, Gerhard Kienbaum, as a 26 year old German engineer. The portfolio of our company comprises: Executive Search, Assessment & Succession, Leadership Development, Compensation & Benefits as well as Organisational Strategy & Transformation. Before taking up my role at Kienbaum, I worked for an American business consultancy in London.Prior to that, I studied international management at ESCP Europe, graduating with a German business management diploma, Diplômé de Grande École, and Master of Science in 2011. In my other life from 20••••06, I was a Bundesliga handball player of VfL Gummersbach.I joined our company in 2014 as COO and was entrusted with the firm\'s digital and investment business. I took over the role as CEO from my father, Jochen Kienbaum, in January 2018 and extended it to a Co-Leadership approach in August 2021 with Bibi Hahn joining as Co-CEO of the Kienbaum group.
