This summer, I gained hands-on experience across multiple facets of club operations while working at Interlachen Country Club. My role combined responsibilities as a tennis professional, junior coach, pro shop assistant, and maintenance assistant, giving me a well-rounded understanding of both on-court and behind-the-scenes operations.Coached junior players of various skill levels, leading group clinics and providing individual instruction to foster growth and love for the game.Assisted with member engagement through lessons, match play, and events, ensuring a positive and professional experience.Supported pro shop operations, including customer service, equipment sales, racket stringing, and inventory management.Contributed to facility upkeep and court maintenance to create a safe, enjoyable environment for members.This experience strengthened my leadership, communication, and teamwork skills while deepening my understanding of the service and operations side of a premier country club.
