ABOUT FRANK ANNUMA
I’m an Assistant Quantity Surveyor currently working on infrastructure projects with Costain Group PLC, with exposure to NEC4 contracts across both upstream and downstream commercial management.My experience includes working under NEC4 Options giving me a balanced understanding of subcontract management, Defined Cost, and cost control in a live project environment.On a day-to-day basis, I support the commercial management of works by:• Managing subcontractor applications and payments• Reviewing cost against contract requirements and supporting Defined Cost assessments• Assisting with compensation events and change management• Supporting early warnings and commercial risk management • Working closely with project teams to ensure cost and programme alignmentI am currently progressing towards Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors chartership (MRICS), with a focus on strengthening my commercial, contractual, and project delivery capability.I’m particularly interested in developing deeper expertise in NEC contracts and progressing into a Quantity Surveyor role where I can take greater ownership of commercial performance, risk management, and contract delivery.
