ABOUT F. DAVID SCHULTZ
I\'m a product manager who got here by learning every part of the customer journey from the inside out. I\'m passionate about customers.Over 7+ years at Vendasta, I\'ve held roles across marketing services, customer success, onboarding, growth marketing, and product management. That path wasn\'t accidental. Each step gave me a deeper understanding of how customers actually experience a product. The highlights- I led the design and deployment of custom AI chat solutions across 19 brands and 3,400+ locations that generated $21M+ in revenue and 25K+ bookings in 9 months- I drove a 10x increase in self-serve acquisitions by transitioning from a sales-led model to a product-led approach- I took customer satisfaction from 74% to 95% in six months- And I\'ve built scalable systems, from automated onboarding workflows to 70+ training videos, that save teams hundreds of hours each and every month. What ties it all together is a belief that growth isn\'t just a funnel metric. Growth happens when you deeply understand what your customers need and then remove every obstacle between them and that value. Product-led growth, self-serve, onboarding, retention. these aren\'t separate disciplines to me. They\'re chapters in the same story.Right now, I\'m leading Vendasta\'s strategic push into direct self-serve acquisition. We\'re building something a brand new funnel and proving out the model sprint by sprint.I\'m a Certified ScrumMaster, a UX/UI Design certificate holder, and someone who genuinely believes that the best product decisions come from listening more than talking. I also happen to be a published fantasy author, so I love storytelling! Whether it\'s a product roadmap or a world of crystal mountains. If any of that resonates, I\'d love to connect.
