I am currently a Clinical Scientist within the CT/AMI division at Philips Healthcare in Cleveland, Ohio. My focus is on supporting internal development by providing clinical assessments of new technology as well as facilitating collaborations with our clinical research partners to develop novel CT methods.Prior to my current role, I was a Systems Engineer with the CT/AMI Research & Development Group. I was responsible for implementing the requirements lifecycle process for the CT and AMI product portfolio. I have experience with requirements development, risk assessment, regulatory standards (IEC60601-1), foreign licensing standards and requirements verification activities.Previously, I was an Electrical and RF Engineering Group Leader within the Hardware Engineering Group of Magnetic Resonance Development at Philips Healthcare in Cleveland, Ohio. I specialized in surface coil and RF interface design for imaging and multinuclear spectroscopy at 1.5T, 3T and 7T field strengths.Keywords; clinical science, oncology, systems engineering, biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, CT, MRI, product requirements, verification, risk assessment, surface coil design, RF interface designI am also Captain and commanding officer of the Auxiliary unit of the Richmond Heights Police Department.
