Any journey in Hollywood is a tough journey. And when the one taking that journey is an Arab who refuses to play terrorist roles, the journey becomes exponentially harder. However, with a lot of hard work and luck, I was blessed to have a career this far that has encompassed a tapestry of roles; a few stand out as poignant landmarks in my career. Here are a few of them:Early on in my career, I delved into the character of Aubrey for two episodes in the popular TV show, White Collar, weaving my essence into a complex narrative that left a lasting impact and taught me a lot.An unforgettable chapter led me to \"Orange Is the New Black,\" where I embodied the role of Kubra for two seasons, adding depth to a story that resonated with millions of audiences.In \"Homeland\", FBI International, General Hospital, and \"The Blacklist,\" I embraced the challenge of portraying characters with different accents that added intrigue and dimension to the intricate plots of these hit shows.However, the most pivotal moment arrived in \"NCIS: Los Angeles,\" where I embarked on an emotional journey that tested the boundaries of my craft. This role challenged me like never before, pushing me to explore emotional depths I hadn\'t ventured into previously. The profound complexity of the character, coupled with the weight of the storyline, made it the hardest thing I\'ve ever had to do – yet also the most rewarding. This performance caught the attention of TVLine, a prominent magazine, where both Daniela Ruah and I were honorable mentions performers of the week, a testament to the depth of our portrayal.As my journey continues to unfold, I remain committed to embracing characters that challenge, inspire, and resonate with audiences, crafting a legacy of storytelling that leaves an indelible mark.
