To my amazing friends and colleagues,After much reflection, I’ve made the big, bittersweet decision to begin winding down my workdays and prepare for my next exciting chapter—retirement. This wasn’t an easy choice, as the relationships built in this exciting industry have been wonderful and I am so grateful for the successes we\'ve shared and the friendships we\'ve forged.One of the reasons I made the decision is that I want to take the next 15-20 years to explore the world. I’d like to travel to far off places like Africa, Thailand, The Galapagos Islands, the Panama Canal, Japan, and go back to places like London, Paris, Rome, Sydney, Dublin, and HAWAII. I am starting this fall with a trip to Turkey and Greece! If you have suggestions, bring ‘em on!One of the most exhausting parts of this transition has been the search for the right person to carry forward the mission and spirit of Extra Mile Marketing. I needed to someone who embodies the values we hold dear: integrity, honesty, expertise, creativity, and heart. That’s why I’m so excited that Abbie Heironimus will be stepping into the role of President of Extra Mile Marketing! She\'s a strategic powerhouse with talents across the board—from marketing and design to technology and client service. Abbie inspires, drives results, and brings an innovative spark to every challenge she takes on. I’ll be staying on as a Senior Project Manager. Yep—Abbie and I are basically just switching seats for the time being. I’ll continue to support clients and work closely with Abbie during the transition period. I\'ll also be helping clients drive their business strategy - whether that\'s through overall goal setting, sales management and training, or marketing and messaging labs.
