As the Officer Commanding the Band at 6 Rifles, I am responsible for overseeing all staff under my command, as well as managing musical performances and training. Our band performs at events across the country and often abroad. Recent visits have included Normandy, Denmark, Czechia, Slovakia, Spain, Jordan and Cyprus.My role encompasses:People developmentAdministrationPlanningRecruitmentFund managementCommunication at all levelsNotable Achievements:In 2023, I led a Short Term Training Team to Jordan to help their Military Musicians prepare for a royal wedding. In 2021/22 I was Adjutant for my Battalion and in 2019/2020, I was seconded as a Project Officer to plan and initiate the Corps of Army Music\'s new £1.4M Bursary Scheme. Starting from scratch, I led the project to the point of its introduction as official policy.
